This course introduces a student to the Western style of playing the Keyboard. Initially, the student will have to understand the keys and play using key names and finger numbers. Later, the student is introduced to sight reading and notations on the Staff sheet , followed by rhythm and rests. This course is ideally suited for students who are absolute beginners.On completion of this course, the student will be able to read basic notations on the Staff and play the same on keyboard.
What will you learn?
This course introduces students to Time Signatures, Chromatic Scales and Chords on Keyboard. As a prerequisite , students must be familiar with basic notes and sight reading on Keyboard, before registering for this course. At the end of this course, a student will be able to play songs with chords.
This course ideal for absolute beginners who are new to the instrument. Along with Basic Fingering and Strumming patterns, the student is also introduced to sight reading, simple Major scales and finally the student will be able to play simple nursery rhymes on guitar
